Managing Partner & Founder

Adam Grayman founded Silver Sail Capital in 2012 with the vision of partnering with management teams in lower middle market businesses to help them achieve sustainable growth. He has nearly two decades of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, accounting, and has participated in mergers and acquisitions, corporate divestitures, leveraged buyouts, and the sales of private and family-held businesses.

Before founding Silver Sail Capital, Adam spent five years at Creo Capital, advising on and executing transactions across a range of industries in the investment banking and private equity divisions. Earlier in his career, he worked in Deloitte’s audit and corporate finance divisions, and also held financial roles with Ernst & Young and Macquarie Bank.

Adam is a CFA charterholder and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005. He has completed the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (“CAIA”) exams, passed the Series 63 and 79 examinations, and holds both a Bachelor of Commerce degree and an Honours degree in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
