Adam Grayman founded Silver Sail Capital in 2012 with the vision of partnering with management teams in lower middle market businesses and helping them achieve sustainable growth.
Adam has over a decade of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance and accounting. He has participated in mergers and acquisitions, corporate divestitures, leveraged buyouts and sales of private and family-held businesses.
Before founding Silver Sail Capital, Adam worked at Creo Capital in investment banking and private equity positions. He also worked at Deloitte in corporate finance and public accounting as well as Ernst & Young in auditing and Macquarie Bank in financial operations in the hedge fund industry.
Adam is a CFA charterholder and in 2005 qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Additionally, he has completed the Chartered Alternative Investment (“CAIA”) exams and passed the series 63 and 79 examinations. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and an Honours degree in Accounting both from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
